Island micro-grid

The island-type independent micro-grid is an integrated system consisting of "generation-transmission-distribution-consumption-storage" established within a separate area. Renewable energy sources such as wind power and solar power are used in conjunction with diesel generators to provide the basic energy required for independent areas. Off-grid micro-grid are mainly used to solve the power supply problem in areas without access to the main power grid.

System characteristics

PV + wind power + energy storage PCS + EMS + isolation transformer

System advantages

Be used in off-grid systems without causing damage to the grid.

Individual control systems for each branch, with overall coordination through EMS.

More precise control, faster response and safer micro-grids through coordinated control.

Greater economic advantages through scientific planning and optimal grouping of "source-load-storage".

All-in-one, integrated micro-grid design need limited land resources.
